Matthew Shaw is a volunteer with the Coalition, leading the team’s national outreach campaign. He has B.A. degrees in Political Science and Public Policy from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and over 6 years’ experience as a Research Assistant with a contractor for HUD’s Office of Policy Development and Research. Matthew’s main responsibilities with the Coalition include writing case studies, conducting outreach, and developing a map of communities across the U.S. responding to Data Center development in their areas. Matthew’s mission at the Coalition is to, by using participatory research methods, connect communities across the country with each other and with resources which will assist them in responsibly developing the way(s) they deem fit.
